On Wednesday 20th September, in occasion of the day organised by Oerlikon dedicated to health and safety at work, an event to highlight the 5 golden rules was held in all the Group’s plants, with the aim of achieving a single goal: reduce the number of accidents to zero.
The day was attended by 1150 employees, who were trained in how to recognize potential risks and hazards in the work environment, with the aim of informing colleagues and operators by identifying appropriate solutions to reduce and eliminate the number of accidents.
During the event, different activities took place, involving the employees in an interactive way through dynamic questions and games, in order to confront and discuss the various topics together.
Renato Usoni, President of Oerlikon Luxury, comments: “The main message to be spread during this dedicated day is to ask our employees to focus a special attention on these issues so that we can all set high goals together. Only in this way we can ensure to all our people the possibility to carry out work activities considering as our first priority health, integrity, safeguard and protection in the name of the safety and the surrounding environment.”
