On the occasion of the publication of the article “Riri, an incredible story”, published in the Swiss weekly “Il Mattino della domenica”, the company based in Mendrisio recalls the passion, victories and achievements accomplished in the Sixties by its women’s basketball team. The team, known as the Grande Riri of Mendrisio, was led for eight years by Yogi Bough, who arrived in Ticino in the Fifties.
Riri, a brand already famous and established at the time for the supply of its accessories, has gained further fame and recognition from this sponsorship, thanks to the victories of its basketball team in Switzerland and in neighbouring countries.
