The new collection of accessories signed Oerlikon Riri addresses the high-end world through two exclusive lines, one dedicated to timeless luxury, the other offering a ‘pop’ take on it.
In both the use of stainless steel and technologies such as Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) stands out, showing the ongoing collaboration with the Oerlikon Fineparts brand.
ENDURING LUXURY: the resilience of authentic beauty
A selection of iconic and immediately recognizable items, demonstrating the trust that consumers place in timeless products: zippers and buttons show a clean design and a naturally subdued colour palette.
Zippers present chains from Metal and Simmetrica range, also available in stainless steel, polyester, jacquard and raw hemp tapes. The pullers, some of them produced in collaboration with the companies of Oerlikon Fineparts (Amom, CMH and DMC), feature animal motifs, like cobra shapes, and so do the buttons, paying homage to the heritage of Cobrax brand.
Buttons in this mood also showcase gold galvanic and diamond-cut surfaces, as well as wooden inserts and PVD, also reproduced on pullers.
POP LUXURY: the modern language of elegance
Pop Luxury addresses the multigenerational complexity that luxury brands face today, aiming to satisfy the diverse consumers, including Generation Z and his need of ‘youthful luxury’.
This mood is expressed through bright forms and colours, leaving room for aluminum and plastic zippers, but also totally made of polyamide like the mono-material Decor. On tapes and buttons space is given to checkered decorations and geometric motifs.
The most important innovations in both moods are the introduction of the symmetrical teeth on the stainless steel zippers, representative of the gradual transition of some items to steel, and the L3 button, a larger version of the iconic L1, which stands out for its high resistance to lateral traction.
