Katharina Rick appointed President of Oerlikon’s Luxury business sector

On July 1, 2024, Katharina Rick will take on the role as President of Oerlikon Luxury, succeeding Renato Usoni, who has been at the helm of Riri Group for 13 years and led the Luxury segment of Oerlikon for one year. Renato Usoni, who has decided to reduce his workload, will continue to support the team on operational and strategic optimization projects.

Katharina joined the Oerlikon Group in 2021 as Head of Strategy of the Surface Solutions division and assumed the role as Chief Transformation Officer for the division in March 2023. In June 2023, she was appointed Directrice Générale of Coeurdor and led the integration process of the Riri Group and Coeurdor into Oerlikon.

The new structure of the business represents another milestone in the integration process of Riri and Coeurdor within Oerlikon. The business will further strengthen the synergies between the brands, Oerlikon Riri and Oerlikon Fineparts, and continue to focus on delivering the high level of quality that customers expect from our products and services.
