Riri as partner in the “Pastoral Complex” project

17 December 2021

Riri Group decided to support the “Pastoral Complex” Project in collaboration with the Australian Artist Benjamin Reynolds and the Spanish Artist Valle Medina, at the internationally renowned artist residency “La Becque”, located in La Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland.

Under the theme of the residency, “Nature and Technology”, Reynolds and Medina – co-founders of Pa.LaC.E –constructed an experimental room that simulates a high-altitude experience, in an airtight space. Pastoral Complex reproduces a walk at 9,800 feet above sea level by reducing the oxygen content of the space and, in addition, domestic decors complete the space as an homage to the air-bathing movement of the 18th century.

Riri, thanks to its technical range of products and collections, was able and proud to sustain this project, by providing its new airtight and waterproof Storm Evo zips (in matt white) to seal the space: our zip resulted as the ideal accessory for all sectors which require high performance levels, offering excellent technical skills (waterproofing, airtightness, resistance).

Storm Evo: the perfect zipper even for an ‘extreme’ environment such as the one experimented in the Pastoral Complex project!
