RIRI TAKES PART IN THE “GUILTLESS PLASTIC 2000” PROJECT

20 November 2020

Ethical attention to environmental impacts and support of young talent: these are the two main values Riri stands for.

As a result, the Switzerland-based reality, thanks to its Tirano headquarter featured in the “Enzo” project, included in the international contest “Guiltless Plastic 2020”, announced by gallerist Rossana Orlandi. Her main goal is to focus on young designers’ creativity to present alternative recycling and reusing solutions for plastic waste.

In particular, the aim of the Enzo project (named after the artist Enzo Mari) is to give new life to plastic waste, creating a new version of bollard. Eager to do its part, Riri provided Michela Panizza and Luca Magistrali, two students at NABA (Nuova Accademia delle Belle Arti), with 30kg of plastic material which, after having been processed in a plaster mould, was turned into an original bollard… eco-friendly and stylish!
