The headquarters of the Riri Group in Tirano have been rewarded for the company’s commitment in promoting health and wellbeing on the workplace.
Riri received an award at the offices of Confindustria Lecco and Sondrio, for having implemented the WHP (Workplace Health Promotion) programme, joining a network of companies committed not just to implementing actions aimed at preventing professional injuries and diseases, but also to offering their employees concrete chances for improving their health.
Lorenzo Riva, President of Confindustria Lecco and Sondrio, explained: “We are proud to mention, among the enterprises which have been committed for some time now to the programme for developing good practices, our associates Baxter, Nuovo Pignone di Talamona and Riri. The actions implemented at the Tirano headquarters include those aimed at enhancing the physical wellbeing of employees, for example snowshoe trekking, “moonlit” walks, Pilates and yoga courses, participation in Nordic Walking Valtellina 2019, in the MilleperMille Grosio event and Stramilano race, as well as healthy cooking sessions, meetings with psychologists and seminars to help stop smoking.
