Design a gadget able to represent Riri’s brand: this was the task given to the third-year students of Polimoda’s Footwear and Accessories Design class involved in a challenging collaboration between Riri and the prestigious Italian institute. On November 30th, students presented their creations to the members of the jury who chose not one but two joint winners: “SEEK AND HIDE” by Yeji Choi and “EVERY LITTLE THING” by Yuliest del Carmen Nunez Garcia.
15 students were involved in this special collaboration with the top-tier Florence-based fashion school. The two winning projects perfectly captured and represented Riri’s mood and creative approach, resulting in highly original and design-oriented items that will be brought to life in the upcoming months.
Moreover, the two Polimoda students have been awarded a scholarship that will partly cover the tuition fees for the academic year of 2018/19. Riri’s collaboration with prestigious schools continues with success, confirming the brands deeply rooted belief in the values of education and innovation, as it is always on the lookout for new ideas and inspirations to help nurture the talent of future fashion designers.
